Shipping within Australia
All orders within Australia will be sent by Registered Mail. The postage fees are flat fees that are defined by weight and include a handling fee.
0-500g = $9.00
500g – 3kg = $15.00
3kg and over = $18.00
Using Registered Mail means that parcels are both insured and able to be tracked. You can track your parcel's progress anytime at www.eparcel.com.au. The Dispatch Notification we send by email to you will have the consignment number to use to do this.
Shipping Overseas
For overseas orders we will use one of the below insured Australia postage options.
The cost of providing this service has been built into the postage fees as displayed on our website. Options below:
1. Insured Air Mail
2. Express Courier International (ECI).
1. Insured Air Mail:
We offer an Air Mail facility with the added security and benefit of insurance for all parcels and delivery confirmation to most countries, when goods are over 2kg.
A card will be dispatched with your parcel for you to sign which will be returned to us to let us know that you have received it. Items stand a better chance of being tracked down if they are signed for & they can only be signed for if insured first. Please note that Ikhaya cannot accept responsibility for deliveries that have not been signed for.
Unfortunately, Insured Air Mail is not able to be tracked and therefore, you will not be able to follow your parcel's progress online as you would with a courier service. (However, this option is less expensive than a courier)

2. Express Courier International (ECI):
ECI is an international courier service operated via Australia Post. It provides a door to door delivery of goods to over 200 countries usually within 2-4 working days to metropolitan areas of major cities. It offers full tracking and signature on delivery.
You can track your parcel's progress anytime at Australia Post. The dispatch notification we send by email to you will have the consignment number to use to do this.
As required, we will supply our delivery company with your address and name to complete the delivery process. Please be aware that, whilst every care will be taken with your confidential information, we are not responsible for and do not provide any assurances for the actions of third parties.
Customs and Duty for Orders outside Australia
If you are making a purchase from outside Australia, some countries have import duty and other taxes on goods entering their country.
The amount you are allowed to import varies from country to country and you are responsible for all charges that may be applied to allow your goods to leave customs. Unfortunately Ikhaya is not able to provide an estimate of what these charges might be.
Delivery Information
You acknowledge and agree that late delivery does not constitute a breach by us of our agreement and does not entitle you to cancel an order.
We will not accept liability for any loss or damage arising from items lost, stolen or damaged after delivery has taken place.
Your Address
It is your obligation to enter the correct delivery address details at the time of ordering. Should you enter the wrong address, we are not obliged to re-send the order to the correct address at our expense. Where possible please use a work address as this will make it easier for a parcel to be signed for.
Parcel Does Not Arrive
It is your responsibility to inform us if an order does not arrive. Once we learn an order has not arrived by the due date (within reason), we will lodge enquiries with the delivery company to try and determine where the parcel is. We will not be held liable for any loss or damage resulting from late delivery or parcels not arriving.
Please note that if an item has been lost in transit, we will not dispatch a replacement item immediately. Replacement items will be dispatched accordingly at our discretion.
Loss or Damage After Delivery
We will not accept liability for any loss or damage arising from items lost, stolen or damaged after delivery has taken place.
